You post them to a site you know AT scrapes. Your group are not the "greatest rippers". If you don't like the comments your files get here there is an easy solution: ask the admin to skip your tag when scraping. I bet you won't.

1)Copying copyrighted materials is considered stealing by law, like you said. Although my opinion is different . 2)So, according to law, AT stealing subs from us and stealing anime (and money) from creators. 3)ARR making fansubs for old anime that never will be released in West anyway and never will be bought from Japan without translation by anyone. Thus ARR don't steal money from creators, but copy and promote their work.
