The debate here has long since devolved into personal attacks and pointless bickering, with the few arguments present just going around in circles, so I'm closing off comments here.
I'm sure the same arguments will be brought up again soon though, but a break might do some people some good.

My hope is that people can be more open minded and learn to accept opinions that differ from their own.
