I am using Media Player Classic so my question is how do I scale this down to 1080p to watch on my PC ?
2160 is too much for my PC to handle.

I don't think you can with Media Player Classic but their is a resize transform menu in the video menu in Potplayer that will do it. Find Potplayer download info in Wikipedia. You'll use something like the fast bilinear transform.
