OPUS in a 1080p! why...  That's like putting regular 87 octane in a Lambo. Great subs and picture shitty sound.  oh well can't have it all the same way we use to.
Actually, It really doesn't matter.  It's just sad to see how everything changed from what it use to be.  Fans treated Anime with the utmost respect. But now it's hard to tell if there's any respect at all by todays generation. No surprise your just going with the flow of things.  Every Anime use to be incredible but now its degenerated so much. Only one a season has the right stuff , subtitles despite being machine translated for a several years were near fan-sub quality have become filled with errors to the point it can't be denied its intentionally happening.  
Encoders, they all had the same goal. create files that would be remembered years from now. They all followed a simple guideline. Create files that are versatile, and can play on as many different media players as possible. When making an external archive or back up. Make file size's 350MB+/-50mb.. So it's possible to fit 12-13 episodes on a 4.7GB DVD-ROM disc.  Everything came down to encoder settings. Some groups found ways to remove their settings from files to protect the long hours they had spent perfecting their craft.  If todays encoders like HandBrake weren't so dam easy to use. We'd see a better balance.
