Because S00E02 is the actual correct way to name it for automation as all specials fall under S00.
Using S02E00 breaks automation.

It's illogical, season 00 should have been told long before Rudeus was even born. Ex: Tell Story Paul and Zenith when they were still adventurers.

Season 00 signify specials, period. It does not in any way signify that it's a season before season 1. This is how they've always been named in databases that properly list specials and seasons (unlike MAL). No argument to be had. S00E02 is correct as the links provided below to themoviedb and thetvdb showcase. Utilizing any other naming method breaks automation for things like Plex that will automatically play the file in the intended order.
