| Comment | Video: Webrip from GYAO! and Yahoo! rental service.Resolution: 1440x1080 Audio: Japanese 2.0ch AAC[Mediainfo file ](https://pastebin.com/raw/i8dbG5jc)Subtitles: English styled ASS All based on Soldats, typesetting, timing, ocr, retranslations and fixes by yours truly.Comments about the subs: The whole point of this release was to update Soldats subs and make a proper softsubbed version, the sub files that have been available are a mess to put it lightly and in my opinion unwatchable, while I fixed many translations mistakes, ocr mistakes and fake translations/dialogues which a few episodes had, I cannot fix the grammar that much since my English grammar is not great, If you're a native English speaker and you spot errors or want to improve things send me an email at aho07@pm.me or just write me in the comments!Comments about the video: Let's get this out of the way, this is a webrip so don't expect BD quality here, the quality is not perfect much less for my standards, obviously is somewhat better than DVD quality but c'mon DVDs never had any quality to begin with ...but I digress, there's some "problems" with the source mainly the bad (bitrate-constrained) encoding made by GYAO which is to be expected from VOD services and cloud encoders, and there's other artifacts with the Openings/ED but the episodes themselves look great 99.5% of the time besides the aforementioned problem of the low bitrate which gave the video some hideous banding especially in dark scenes, but considering that all that has been available up until now are DVDrips you can't really complain, so for now this is the best quality there is until Blu-rays come out...If you spot any errors in the subtitles or the video, don't hesitate to let me know, I'd work on a v2 if needed and I'll surely do a v2 when the BDs come out, so if you have any info about a possible BD release contact me so I can make a proper v2 for them.Also I don't accept complains about the video quality since that is out of my hands and I did all I could already.Thanks to Soldats for their translation R.I.P boys, and the person who ripped a lot of these subs @Tanij who made my job easier. |
