AV1 all the way!
Yes it can. Ask in the discord server for the files and I can send them. Will be just as much as a DDL as using one of the services provided by animetosho.

Yes it can because you are the only one pulling this you mean.

Perfect example everyone else does with optional files compared to you....

it would be interesting to know why you are doing it this way.

to make small releases

for audio the size differences are trivial.  I hope the actual uploader has better reasons.

if coping is such an issue I'd just get a good release like Vodes

Extra audio files can be deselected in a torrent, so there is no reason for a separate torrent.

bad for longevity

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated. The ulpoader should be adding the other audio in the attachments. I haven't messed with torrents since I got two warning letters years ago from my cable company.

Just to be clear warning letters were a long time ago back when everyone was using ftp but after internet termination and prosecution warning I stopped torrenting.  We were using anonymous proxys back then as opposed to vpns now. Still was busted. Have stuck with file hosting sites since and yet to have issues. Havent tested my luck with torrents since.

Look into Usenet. Really is the best way.

I agree with the other users. If it was actually optional the secondary audio would've been uploaded in the attachments You didnt even list how to get the other audio. One of the users posted the info. If. you might as well have just put this as a sub upload instead of deliberately making things difficult. All you did with this optional bullshit is waste everyones time. Ive been here since like 2014 and you are the only uploader that Ive seen that does this optional crap. Everyone else would make it dual audio or or sub or dub. Having to get the full upload in two different places is a joke (heres part on Animetosho. If you want the rest go to nyaa or discord). Ulterior motives much? I'm not one for complaining about uploads and dont even complain  much a lot of water marks unless they really make the vid hard to watch but personally Id rather you didnt upload at all if you need to make things difficult. Things are only "difficult" for you because YOU decided to get my releases using alternative methods, instead of torrenting. This is completely fine, but personally I'm supporting torrenting because of the associated philosophy that always came with it: sharing and contributing to others accessing a file.
So what's my reasoning? Let's take the torrent user pov for a second. He's looking for a small release, most of them don't give a shit about dual audio and whatnot. So the release should be tailored for the need of the majority. When you have up to 10 languages for a show, putting all of that into such a mini release will undoubtedly double or triple the size of it, meaning that most sane people that look for the smallest releases out there will simply avoid it. Most releasers only include English dubs into their releases, so it's fine for them. Not me. I go the extra mile to try and include all easily accessible dubs for a show when possible. Sure, I might have missed some but that's not the point really.
The audio torrent is linked in the original release description, and contains specific instructions and information about these files, sometimes including scripts. Many people are downloading these audio torrents without complaining or having issues, I have lots of numbers to share if you want. These separate releases also serve the purpose of providing people an easier way to get dub files without having to download huge raws, only other way to get them, even if they're not gonna use the files for my releases specifically. Furthermore, I often do 720p and 1080p versions of my releases and bloating both releases with dub files is dumb. It is easier to make a separate release as soon as the 720p version is released (so in this case, in April 2022) and then link it when the new 1080p release is made available (more than a year later...). I'm constantly seeding those as well, there is no fear of them not being accessible anymore after a while, in countrary to the DDL services provided here that deletes files after a year or so usually, which is what's bad for preservation.
There is no ideal solution, and I don't want to sound like I'm alienating DDL users, which is why I offer to give DDL in the AV1 discord server too if necessary. I understand why you don't like it, but try to understand why I don't like putting optional files in a regular release. Does not mean I have never done it or that I won't be doing it again in the future, but that I will prefer my method especially when there are multiple languages.
I'm also looking into ways to expand our DDL capabilities ourselves with platforms like uptobox, google drive,... Animetosho is an amazing website and I'm also using it constantly to get missing subtitles for my releases, however its users are not my primary target audience. My goal has always been to push AV1 adoption and improve the quality of small releases, so obviously download counts are important to reach that goal and the numbers provided by the DDL services here tell everything I need to know about the proportion of DDL people against torrenting people.
Sorry if my method does not follow your habits, but I won't be stopping making releases anytime soon.
