Really? the vast majority of anime sites I visit have far more JP anime than they do from other countries (like this site here). You may be just upset that I don't like CGI so called anime that looks like live action as compared to CGI that looks closer to hand-drawn.

Only up to a point. When it looks like live action I don't consider it real anime as compared to looking more like hand drawn. If the CGI looks closer to hand drawn I won't complain. I do like some of the Korean anime but when the characters start looking like real people (no matter who does it) and quit looking like cartoons/real anime (hand drawn type) I no longer consider it to be a real anime or cartoon. But if you like that way you may as watch serial type dramas on TV.

Everywhere in the anime/anime-adjacent sphere, there's people commenting on someone else's webserver about how they'd be better using their own webserver's storage: do you guys have some way of getting better insights than the actual owner?

Well I have well over 100tb of local storage, all bought on sale. I have a seedbox with 1.5tb that costs me about $20 USD per month plus it gives me a VPN for free.

That doesn't answer your question but for the owner to just turn over this site would leave him with the legal liabilities.

For muxxing I use MKVToolNIX. It's an EZ app to use and there are plenty of how-to's out there.

- if you're not a technical person, you don't actually need to "mux" anything. You can just download the subtitle files from anywhere (including here), and put them in the same directory with the same filename, and your media player will find and use them.

Obviously this doesn't work for literally every media player on every platform ever, but it works for all the commonly used ones. A lot of players also understand multiple extensions, i.e.:

Yes, to a degree. You will still have to tell your player which sub files to play for each ep unless you mux and or change the header defaults.

Because by doing this you only have to "tell" your player which subs to use once, assuming they're named similarly enough to the video.

Holy, people can't stay nice and cordial 4 days before AT's death. To answer the question, yes I will tend to include Unfucked or any other type of improved subs in batches. Mind you, I already did so last season for Seihantai, and the one before for Bukiyou na Senpai!
