[GJM+honorigics] Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara - 03.mkv available? Coom on! Do it!

""No Honorifics [eng, ASS]"" fucking loser fansub team caving from the criticism of a few casuals. Wankers.
26/10/2018 22:05 — Anonymous
Good, no honorifics. They are over-rated and over used. Do you use honorifics when you talk to your friends? I know I don't call them sir, mr etc. I call people I know by their first name without any pre or suffix.
27/10/2018 15:41 — Anonymous
We are watching shows from a completely different culture, I at least respect that. These are shows where honorifics are an defining characteristic of any and all relationships, many of the subtexts play on this, if we are going to let casual watchers rule the roost by dominating this argument here then it really is game over for whatever is left of the 'community' of dedicated anime fans. I wish more of the silent majority would speak up on this matter.
27/10/2018 16:22 — Anonymous
I'd suspect there are more 'casual watchers' than there are weebs watching anime around the world and the silent majority would be the casual watchers.

Commenting because I like my avatar picture, meow!
Heh, honorifics have contextual meanings and the moment you remove it, you lose things you can infer from a scene.

Also, honorifics couldn't directly translated to sir, mr, etc but it has its own meaning and sir, mr, miss etc just a poor simplified translation for those.

So it's not overrated and over used. It's there necessarily.

Episode 1 had 2
[GJM] releases, one with honorifice, and one anglosized, is it possible to release an mkv containing both options?
27/10/2018 15:46 — Anonymous
I highly doubt a casual viewer has the intuitive capabilities to navigate through the options on a a media player to select custom subs
27/10/2018 15:57 — Anonymous
Spoon-feeding casualwatcher-kun, whilst the real anime fans lose out. That is brilliant. Just fucking brilliant. Cheers [GJM]
27/10/2018 16:19 — Anonymous
I'd suspect there are more 'casual watchers' than there are weebs watching anime around the world.

Oh, you used the 'weeb' word. I guess that means you win. Oh well, case closed.
27/10/2018 16:28 — Anonymous
Too subtle, Casual NPC-kun doesn't have the intelect to understand sarcasm
27/10/2018 16:42 — Anonymous
"I'd suspect there are more 'casual watchers' than there are weebs watching anime around the world" The fuck is this? Crunchyroll forum? get the fuck outta here

To most people (not the hardcore/weeb) watching subbed anime, the Japanese honorifics are just meaningless suffixes.
Unless they actually spend the time (they won't) to look up the meaning San, Chan, Kun, Sama, Senpai etc are just meaningless gobbledy-gook terms.
There are a lot of anime watchers who love the shows but are not into learning the Japanese meanings. To them it's just another cartoon.
27/10/2018 16:55 — Anonymous
The clue here is in the name these groups go by "fansubs" get it? FAN subs. Made by fans for fans. At least thats how it used to be. Taking these imagined "anime watchers who love the shows but are not into learning the Japanese meanings" into account is cxompletely unnecessary.
27/10/2018 16:58 — Anonymous
Yet some fans use/like honorifics and others don't.
27/10/2018 17:11 — Anonymous
Its not really about "using" or even "liking" honorifics, it is mostly about the translation being unoticable, the viewer simply being immersed in the show. A clumsy anglosization will ruin that immersion, for real fans anyway.

Looks like someone is upset because there are more of us than you.
27/10/2018 17:02 — Anonymous
But dedicated fans are real, they have an awareness far far beyond the understanding of you casual NPCs. This discussion relates to Quality, not Quantity.
27/10/2018 17:13 — Anonymous
Just ignore weebkid. He attacks any part of japanese culture he does not like, here at a site that celebrates a unique part of that culture. He has adult swim and anime fans have everything else. Works for me.
27/10/2018 17:31 — Anonymous
your from r/anime aren't you?
27/10/2018 18:02 — Anonymous: "DoE"
This is funny. People arguing over Honorifics, reminds of sub vs dub debates.
Easy solution: just learn Japanese and you won't need to worry about subs or Eng dubs.
To those that say it's all about the culture learn Japanese and just watch the raws.
27/10/2018 19:11 — Anonymous
This site focuses on subs and dubs, not raws. Anyone wanting to watch raws has no need of this site or the community.
27/10/2018 19:21 — Anonymous
You can still just turn off the subs and watch it in the raw format.
Using the culture excuse is basically saying you are either too lazy to learn Japanese or trying to say you are better than those who don't care about Japanese honorifics.
Anime is nothing but cartoons from a certain area of the planet.
A true anime purist would just learn Japanese.
28/10/2018 10:39 — Anonymous
You really don't get it. You really, REALLY don't get it. I doubt you would ever be able to get it no matter howmany times it is explained to you. I can only pray that fan subbers stop being influenced by the (very vocal) casuals that killed this community
27/10/2018 20:00 — Anonymous
weeb or NPC or cultural purist ?

I care about Anime. I don't care about any of that shit.
28/10/2018 10:42 — Anonymous
thats the type of comments that clone SJW's come out with. It is a self defeating post. It makes no sense. If you 'care about anime' then you absolutly would care about 'that shit'
28/10/2018 19:34 — Anonymous
clone SJW ?

I care about anime. I don't care about that shit.

TIL
30/10/2018 13:03 — Anonymous
I've been watching anime for years and usually about 6 hours a day. So I guess that makes me a real fanboy. I don't care about Japanese honorifics in my English language subtitles, terms like Kun, San etc are not English terms.
Needing Japanese honorifics in your English subs just means you are an elitist snob and you are not qualified to say that the rest of us don't care about anime.
BTW, what the hell is a 'clone' SJW? Never mind, I forgot that universities brainwash and crank them out everyday.
30/10/2018 23:34 — Anonymous
not qualified ? elitists snob ? real fanboy ? brainwash ?

I watched that anime and it's not this one
