Quite a pleasant surprise quality wise. I expected eye cancer city, happy to be proved wrong.
Viewed on a 46in HD tv and with the exception of some stuttered pan shots and a some what weak audio the quality is quite good.
I suggest you check it out now instead of waiting for a high res version.

How to describe this show? Scattered comedy: Females stripping each other bare, tying each other up with ropes, bondage style. If Monty Python were all female and liked stripping each other bare and tying each other up with ropes, bondage style. Sort of like that, so far.

Lots of buzz for this show amongst people you probably are happy not to know.

Here's what the ones who subbed ep1 say:

"Ebiten 01: To be honest, I'm not too happy with how this episode turned out for quite a number of reasons. However, it should be watchable, at the very least. Not sure when the next episode is coming out, or whether we'll do it or not."

Reading thru their comments, I think they felt:
1. Webrips too low quality visually. They might pick it up after a BD release
2. A difficult series to translate, full of obscure Japanese references and humor.

That being said, if you wanted to prod some people into subbing it, the most appropriate targets would be:
SubDesu, SFW, and Shikkaku

The animation of Episode 04 to Episode 07 can be early got more, if software called NNDD is used.
In order to download an animation using this software, account registration (free,no charge) is needed.
Although it is Japanese-made software, there is no so difficult thing.
A file should be able to be obtained, if a search word is inputted after starting NNDD,
it registers with a download list and download is started.
