Not surprising, His files are encoded to industry standards!!  Which tells me he still using common sense. The only people encoding this way still use common sense and know that if there's a need or desire to improve picture quality of the video. Simply increase the frame rate per second [FPS]from 23.976 to 60FPS. And the file is compatible with any external media player in the world.
x265 can't and won’t ever be able to make that claim.

Another truth is funimation is who first released files encoded with h10/HEVC codecs in control the flow of offline Anime file sharing. It's also true, they started MuAnimeList [MAL]. It says something else but I know for a fact funimation created the site to collect statistics, or rather their parent company Universal Pictures, They purchased funi in 2005. Then forced all other anime export/importers to go bankrupt except for one. (Because US law forbids a single company from owning and industry) blamed it on Internet sharing.  It was done so they could begin a plan to take control of the industry like it has been since 2017.  Since 2005 no new Anime export/import company has been started despite it growing in popularity 10x as much as it was in 2005.

After getting rid of the other importers, they complained to the Anime industry, they can't make full use of licenses by selling rights to air episodes on cable networks. Because there wasn't enough commercial space, Anime episodes use to be almost 28mins(27:51). Japan doesn't advertise the same way America does. They bitched and bitched until episode running time was reduced to 23:40. If the other exporters were still in business, they would have blocked the reduction of episode lengths. Funimation alone didn't have to power to to get shorter episodes, doubt they even thought it up. But Uni Pic  saw the profit potential of Japans Anime industry on a global scale.  The reason Japan doesn't export it themselvesis simple. They don't care if the rest of the world watches Anime. They created it for their society, or use to.

"Another truth is Funimation is who first released files encoded with h10/HEVC codecs in control the flow of offline Anime file sharing."
That's wrong! This is the normal, usual evolution of technology. Just like H.261 gave way to H.262 and it then gave way to H.263, and then it was replaced by H.264/AVC, H.265/HEVC is the natural result of video codec advancement.

Actually, H.265/HEVC is facilitating file sharing a lot since it's smaller in size and can be uploaded and downloaded more easily.
If you knew exactly what codecs are, you wouldn't make that mistake.

According to the Oxford dictionary, a Codec is described as a device or program that compresses data to enable faster transmission and decompresses the received data. The term codec is a combination of encoder and decoder (or possibly compressor and decompressor hence Co-Dec).
The main purpose of Codecs is to facilitate the storage and transmission of digital media because, in their raw form, they require preposterous storage space.

H.265/HEVC is not smaller, it allows for smaller sizes while retaining some quality compared to H.264/AVC at low bitrates. At higher bitrates the line between HEVC (new Beatrice-Raws, Kawaiika-Raws) and AVC (SCY, old Beatrice-Raws) becomes blurred. But yeah I agree that smaller "higher quality" files have helped the file sharing community to expand.

Did Funimation ever release files encoded in 10 bit h.264 and h.265? Never seen them around, do you have a source/link for those?

According to the encode, Slyfox's source seems to be from TokyoMX. So they're probably not getting all their episodes from Funimation.

LMAO seriously you forgot your meds again. Anyways files are encoded to industry standards because they are untouched encodes direct from the industry. SlyFox encoded nothing. Sell your old hardware already. Get a cheap android phone and install vlc on it.

Why must everyone rely on a phone or computers to watch their anime? To be fair, I'm still watching these anime on a 27" CRT TV, decoded by a TV player. I mean this good quality anime series (of 2022) deserves a big-screen view.

#Even a Pawn can take down a King#
Some trolling counter attack? OP?
Or didn't you know, that every device with a HDMI port can be used as screencast client with a cheap chromecast or dozens of similar devices? Not to mention the huge number of big screen devices with native Android TV...
Hard to believe in 2022. But maybe it's just me.
Just a side note: Video codecs are a minor problem compared with proper support for Matroska / ASS / Fontconfig on big screen devices, when not on Android TV with the ability to install suitable players.

OP just forgot his pills, pay no mind to it.
