What moron does all these releases?

- Don't hardsub subtiles.
- Don't use anything other than main HEVC, don't use HEVC2, it's not compatible with 99% of HW decoders.

Well, hardsubs are a matter of taste. Don't like them either.
But do you actually blame  the one, who encoded this, for hardware companies' failures to provide HEVC MAIN 8-bit v1 profile decoding and advertise "HEVC support"? I *personally* don't buy any GPU hardware these days, as I consider it mostly (nVidia GTX 10x0 should work with HEVC MAIN 12-bit) naturally born trash.

Hardsubs: This hevc2 provider is just a re-encoder of Horrible's releases, as a click on the Nyaa link above would have told you.  Horrible's was hardsubbed because that's what their sources provided.

all the animes on here ARE RUINED because of morons who don't know how to encode properly. Don't hard sub dammit. Don't use hevc2, don't use other profiles than hevc 1.0.

^adding: hevc 1.0 is important because most (I do too) use Plex for storing their anime. Plex can't stream hevc2 or anything else other than hevc 1.0, but also most HW these days can't handle anything else.

Well, it's a difference between not saying "thank you" and calling people "morons".

1) Maybe you should contact customer support of Plex and call them "morons" because of this:
"Check out all the great features that make the Plex experience so awesome. ... Any Format: Support for all file types (well, virtually all), including hi-fi music and video formats."
You paid for this (some difference compared with fansub releases).

2) Or - as I would do - just grab fansub releases, that work with this "awesome" system/hardware.
Like the original release from HS in this case (as noted above).

THIS release is for people, who want a good size/quality ratio. And it's well suited in this category. Won't say anything else. 00sas already found the right words.

There is 99% no difference between HEVC1 and 2 in filesize and quality. People who do ALL these releases don't know what they do. Some crazy shit realeaes are like 500mb per file even in hevc2.

The topic here is encoding with 8-bit color space vs. 12-bit. This is only loosely connected with HEVC profiles, namely as v1 does only support 8-bit.

Not specifically the author of this release. But Iv seen some other authors (like a guy from Kametsu group, or some other authors give details about their release on here as anon...)

PS. I also suggest that complains should be directed to Nyaa and not here. Since this place is solely for DL purposes. But I can't deny that trolling is much more open here, since you can post stuff as "Anonymous".
