CommentChanged dialogue styles to Elysium-esque. Improved typesetting and timing in earlier subs. Changed some TL notes and jokes to be easier to understand. Used the visually best sources I could find (least artifacts).

A Borg-like collective of 5 non-consenting sources pureed into 8 semi-homogenous OVA episodes with some promise of improved joke presentation and even explanation?!

Yes, please!  I'd appreciate the opportunity to be disappointed in the promised improvements, if you don't mind the push request, admin.

Please and thank you, or thank you anyways.

I must thank you for the request, and thanks to the admins! I have [not proudly lol] seen hundreds of anime over the years, but this is my fav. relaxing, and fun comedy. It is kind of a shame the OVA's are all over the place [no good singular fansub, or even the same source release - eg i think only 3 were actually BDs?] anywho, thank you!

Oh sweet! I haven't actually watched the OVA's yet so this should be good.

Is that you Galaxy? lol

...how did you know?!

For certain reasons I don't like to ask for special favors such as a torrent push except as an anon.

Thanks for your own generous DL link contributions to AT.  I've picked up a lot of great older shows thanks to you.  I don't think many people here realize how generous you've been.

You are very welcome. I thought it would be great to give something back to the community.

Thanks to my ISP throttling torrents, I was desperate so I spent a lot of time looking for links through google by using certain keywords which worked most of the time. Well, my efforts paid off and knowing I helped someone makes it all the more worthwhile. I found more links for older shows that I bookmarked but I can't really find any place here in AT to post them.

And, here: https://animetosho.org/view/coalgirls-...06_.711132
See the last line. lol

1. A place to post them here...  Hmm.  That aside, have you ever considered the wonderful learning experience possible in creating your own anime archive website?  AT remains mostly a current release portal after all and people are often digging up 2 year-old postings here and asking for links.

2. I am wondering if some of the ftp places you found were intending to have public access or not.  I wonder if your sharing might lose you future access to those resources.  I hate to say that, but I see some evidence it may have already happened.  I think soon after you provided a link somewhere to The World God Only Knows II (or the like), the ftp site owner removed the folder.  Maybe that was nothing or coincidence.  Anyways, I just thought I should mention the possibility.

3. coalgirls, last line: I'll have to avoid consistencies somehow.  Hmm.  (like, "Hmm.")

Seitokai:
1. The ova's I've seen so far have been great.  Just like new eps, and as you probably know a new season is coming as well.

2. If you're a big fan, add to your list Doki's BD of the original episodes 1 and 2 only.  The reason: Two major fansubs translated the series originally, Ryuumaru and Ayako.  Back then I counted up the major gags in ep 1 and each fansub group's version contained 30 gags -but they were almost all different gags.  So each version missed half the humor.  Doki began their own recent version, pulling together more of the humor from both sources but gave up after ep2 and just re-published the Ryuumaru script.

I haven't considered doing that and probably won't cause that sounds like a lot of work and I'm a lazy bum. :D
I don't really know if those ftp sites are for public access. I just found them and checked if I could download, it worked, then bookmarked them. Okay, I just checked my list and 1 is down (that sucks). It would be best to download from the sites ASAP.

Seitokai:
I am indeed a big fan and I appreciate the heads-up. Will download those then. :D

Only too true.  If you want older anime, you have to think outside the box a bit.

1. I didn't think you'd fall for that "educational archive experience ploy"
2. Impressive googling, by the way: A marketable skill these days.  Unfortunately, as you learn thing with Google, the NSA learns things about you.

By the way, I found those ftp sites by using this: http://search-ftps.com/

(I may as well share this.) To those who would like to use it, make sure to add the file extension when searching.
E.G. sword art online mkv/mp4 to limit the search to video files only. You can also add the fansub/BD release group's name to limit the search further. Keep in mind though that not all ftp sites allow public access.

Now, for other sites I found like these ones: http://www.dl-protect.com/C2F03BB5 and http://www.dl-protect.com/8B5B5677, I searched for "anime mkv parent directory" or sometimes "-group name- mkv parent directory". Try googling "doki mkv parent directory" and there should be a link to virtualorg where I downloaded Air. Like what Galaxy said, it's about thinking outside the box.

Well, if anyone wants the list of sites I bookmarked, just ask me (nicely). :D

The NSA will never take me alive!

(-Oh yes we will.)

I'd like that list!  I've already have a folder with your name on it from your links so far.

"Please and thank you!" (phrase now officially retired)

Thanks!  Static was my fav so far.

btw, Mega creates dead files on some systems during downloads and doesn't clean them up afterwards.  Search for a folder called:

"https+++mega.co.nz" (without the quotes)

somewhere in your system and delete it.  I regained 42GB  of disk space deleting that folder, and I don't use Mega much.  Mega will just create it again next time you use them.  Dump it again every now and then.  I don't know if this happens with all browsers or just some.

Maybe people already know about this.

I checked the folder and it's only 512kb. Probably because I haven't downloaded much from Mega since my HDD got fried and replaced (a month ago). Thanks for the tip anyway, might come in handy in the future. :D
