Good to see some attention for this season again. It's not quite the definitive release I was hoping for though.
Video quality is pretty bad due to incorrect de-telecining. Audio/video are extremely out of sync for most of the episode.
Subtitles are too large, resulting in three lines on screen pretty often. Subtitle fonts haven't been included in the file, which means some of them fall back to default. Subtitle colors are near-exact matches to character colors instead of desaturated versions, making them hard to see. Subtitle colors also use all three of inside, outline and shadow, which looks really messy. Some heavy subtitle animation effects are used as well. For OP/ED karaoke that's a matter of taste (I prefer a lighter touch), but for regular subs it distracts from what's happening on screen without reason.
The translation seems to be the semi-recent xPearce edit of the old Arienai version. It still has the mistakes from the old version ("Dark King" / "Dark Zone" instead of "Evil King" / "Dotsuku Zone") and compounds that with really bad lines like "You nigger-zakenna!" (21m40s). Even just reusing the old Arienai translation would be better than that.
Overall, most of these flaws are beginners' mistakes, but having this many at once means you'd basically have to start over from scratch to fix all of them. The translation is just inexcusable.
