Grain is a product of it's mean and part of the intended product, removing it would do no good to the original vision of the motion picture imo

Because the compression gains of HEVC is extremely exaggerated as actual encoding examples have proven that HEVC's massive compression gains only happen as a result of quality loss and therefore to maintain quality HEVC encodes end up being roughly the same size as AVC encodes and occasionally even bigger, not smaller.

As for this show in specific, it's an old show. It's not digital and therefore has legitimate film grain which eats bitrate for breakfast.

Interestingly, Netflix is using a feature in AV1 to remove then remap grain back in, for a huge savings in transmission costs, according to Verge.

For the hevc question, neither avc or hevc can compress grain or noise very much, being random stuff. It sounds like AV1 has a solution. I'd wait for that.

Please read the FAQ. AT is only a mirror of recent files. And old ones wont get reuploaded. Thus you can either see for ways to dl. those old releases (project-gxs sill has seeder) or dl this and encode yourself. Maybe you'll also find other encodes elsewhere. But again, AT is not an archive - once links are dead you'll have to find other ways.
