I agree with the OP. The releaser used a tag that is aimed at a group that has been harassed for naming their subs as - no honorifics -. It isn't insane for someone to comment on kind of trying to hurt some groups rep. You must be the insane one to not notice.

Lost me why he picked this anime. Like most western themed anime japanese honorifics have nothing to do with the story and are not used or missed.

Incorrect. Honorifics are used in this anime. Literally first episode had the following: Kaa-san, Tou-san, Oji-san, Oba-san, Ojou-chan. Further, most western-themed anime also use honorifics simply because people have parents and talk to strangers whose name they don't know.

Throughout the series they are used sparingly between friends and family. The main character is addressed most often by her first name without honorifics. Mother, Father, other adults, and the western style nobility are not singled out with non easily translated to western styled honorifics.
Yes, all cartoons contain honorifics such as Elmer PhD.

Troll is obvious.
These OVAs contain no honorifics and all listed sources contain no honorifics. Neither the Nyaa post or the linked website mention honorifics.
