It feels like it's open for another season though, and sales for the BDs are decent. Maybe in a year or so. I think the light novels may wrap up soon, so who knows?

The light novel will end in volume 10. Volume 9 is already published. So we can expect that the second season will come soon to cover the remaining volume of light novel until the end.

Thanks for that insight. Btw, do you know up to what volume this anime covers?

Spending a whole season on one volume? Has it been done before? Forgive my ignorance but from all the animes I've watched that have been derived from novels, they have covered at least two volumes. I haven't read the Sakurasou novels. Is there enough of the story to fit it in another season? Maybe 12 episodes instead of 24? I do hope for another season!!

This season of 24 episodes cover up to volume 7 of light novel. To cover volume 8-10, 12-13 episodes of second season is enough I think.

I hope there will be a second season, this was a pretty good show. I give it an 9/10.

I hope they do make another season. This series reminds me a lot of "Honey & Clover" which is also a good series. Check it out if you liked this one and you haven't seen it yet. There is Honey & Clover and Honey & Clover II.
