I haven't felt like watching this, but what's the point to this series?

just like almost anything everybody watches, degradation (mental, physical, etc).

This anime is about how some little girls (12-13ish I think) save the world in a Power Rangers fashion.

But mainly it is about the butts.

It's true: you could say that the viewer is constantly getting the ass-end of things :)

I've been hesitant to watch cause of how nuts people were about Strike Witches.

"The future everyone dreamed of, an ideal, peaceful age where science solves everything."  Vividred is about an ideal time when young girls kiss each other in order to become one flesh and unlock their hidden power.  The name "Vivid-Red" refers to their ultimate weapon which is yet to be fully revealed.  It will probably have something to do with menstruation.

Earth's greatest scientist turns out to be a stuffed weasel, by the way.  The butts may be just a feign to the male audience.  Based on a manga written by a J_Rhogan, I believe, who also wrote Strike_Witches and sings male lead in the group Kalafina.

Any questions?

(ah, it's good to be anon.)

Kalafina is a girl group....

That deep voice, those big bones.  You're not surprised, are you?

(John didn't really have anything to do with Strike Witches either)
