400p again, apparently. I'm not up on current Naruto, so a bit confused. According to AnimeNewsNetwork, this film was released in Japan 2006, US in 2008, and has been streamed since 2011. So it's not new, is it?

i dont get what u mean mate is it about resolution or about the movie review in name does it say 720p and in info there is 400p no its not like that think like Bluray rip those u get like other movies it gets 16/9 on the screens and its quality is good and audio is awesome....who whats that reviewer's grade its not new its old movie but in excellent English audio i.e 5.1Ch

The review just amused me.  I put no faith in it.

The resolution of this release is 720 X 400p, or "400p".  What we call "720p" is usually 1280 X 720p.  The common way is to refer to the resolution in terms of number of horizontal lines and whether the screen is fully redrawn each cycle ("progressive") or interlaced (which would be "720i, found in some TV broadcasts).  The perspective used in this movie is 16:9 or widescreen.

As to my original question, I thought it sounded like someone thought this was a new movie, which confused me a bit as to whether they were going back to rewrite things the way Fullmetal or Star Trek movies did.  Now I'm guessing maybe this is where the dubbed releases are at in the story line.  I used to watch the fansubbed Japanese broadcasts where this timeline passed a long while ago.

Or whatever.  Naruto is fun any which way.

The founder of Doki rigged their chatbox so if you typed in "Naruto" it printed "faggot" every time.  He was telling me how funny that was.  Ugh.
