It's not. They just edit official subs and claim it's an OTL. Also, it's translated by anon, so into the trash bin it goes. Just stick with official subs. You can check the script with diffcheck. Someone on nyaa provided it.

The script is there just for the sake of being different, saying this script is translated from scratch is an insult to fansubs who actually do their own translations. Remove all the fancy TS and KFX and what you got there? Netflix subs with edits.

So I talked with FLE staff and he told me, he will provide the base script they used (non edited one) that was provided by their anon translator in their next upload for both E01 and E02 and he also said depending on how fast the editing goes, they will probably upload E02 before Netflix uploads their official English translation.

Except this is english-translated category, if you really like japanese that much, just release it raw. It's a solution (one) if you say solutions then it's more than one, then it's incorrect. It means you're unsure. Anyway, good for you. whatever you're doing doesn't mean much to me tho. do what you think it's right.

Firstly i am not the TL so just conveying why our translator translated it like that. Secondly, it's just one line out of 357 which we will fix in our v2 (always open to feedback on where we can improve) and after reading all your comments here, i wanted to defend our releases since it's a clear misinfo that we are using netflix as base (that's why i provided all the diff check). Not to mention we are also doing timing, typesetting, kfx etc for our releases so if someone calls our releases trash and say that we are lying, ofcourse we will reply since every member involved worked really hard to get a good release out for this show. All I can say is our TL is someone pretty reputable and there is a reason they wish to stay anonymous. I don't want to say anything more so I don't accidentally compromise their anonymity. I guess your translator isn't very good with math, then. Properly translating between languages is more than just knowing what the words mean - sometimes you need to know what they're actually talking about (in this case, basic algebra).
