Well, K-Lite Codec Pack with Media Player Classic (MPC) showing what I described in first comment, unless I should have chosen other options during installation.

I don't think you'll find any settings that will make this run smoothly for you.

drop K-Lite Codec Pack switch to LAV filters

the default for k-lite is LAV.

This encode puts stress on hardware. If you've had luck with AV1 before, look for another version. Otherwise, avoid AV1.
