Whenever Meh makes a comment like you did he actually provides actually file host links. He does this a lot to help others. Its most appreciated and doesnt go unnoticed.

Most of the regulars here already know that old expired files might be still be seeded. Occasionally you can find ones over a decade or more but the fact is this isnt Nyaa since you can torrent if you are really trying to help then try uploading the files to a file hoster like Meh does. If we didnt want file host links wed all be at Nyaa not here

There are thousands of anime listings here with dead file links that are still seeded via torrent and make the same comment but few of us using this site torrent so its not helping here referring people to listing with dead links unless you are providing file host links.

A lot of isp dont mess around if they catch you using torrents. I ignored the first letter and was threatened with prosecution and cancellation in my second letter. That got my attention. Haven't torrented since. Not worth it for me to test it. I have had zero issues with file hosters. Many here are in the same situation with an isp with strict policies against torrents. This site using is a godsend for those who cant torrent.

Lol $5 ...  shit vpns....lol again. I was torrenting before a lot of you were born. These days with nearly everything I want is via file host links. Real-debrid is a better investment for me and no need of a vpn with file host links.  Nyaa itself isn't enough for me to warrant paying for one. If this was the 90`s or early 2000s during the torrenting hay day sure. We used the deep web using TOR and proxies. Silk Road was great.... well until they got busted and some people put in prison.

And 20 seeds.... we had hundreds and sometimes thousands of seeders. The downside is there were a lot more hidden viruses and they were a lot harder to detect.  Sure I may have got a prosecution letter but there are many other options than nyaa

I just don't have a use for vpns anymore. If I was going to get a vpn again Id get one that offers a vpn router and was actually capable ofsplit tunneling  bypassing geo blocking for streaming. Not many can. Certainly not a cheap $5 vpn. A cheap vpn is just a waste of money imo.  You get what you pay for.

Not to mention most have shit speeds when streaming and use the same ips over and over so many sites can block them. Also most of those low end cheap vpns actually collect your data and lie to you and state they dont. If you do enough research on them you will learn which vpns do keep your data and which dont. TORRENT FREAK has always been a good source for information on vpns.

The last vpn I had was two years ago ...Torguard and they kept using the same recycled ips. I had a handful of sites that blocked Torguards recyled shit. If I was pressed about it I could get Bitdefenders add on vpn for only $30 a year since I have  Bitdefender Total Security but again it wouldnt be great for streaming. i do get 200mb a day free with Bitdefenders vpn since I have Total Security but thats not enough to even bother with the free vpn.

If I was going to get another vpn Id get Surfshark or Express vpn.

By the way a lot of vpns state they can by bypass geo blocking but then if you read the fine print they cant stream Netflix or Prime (or other streaming methods) from different countries. Again you get what you pay for.

I've heard if an isp cares, you have to mask what software you use also and some will cancel you out if you're using a torrent client on a vpn address.

It's simple only if your isp doesn't care.

I don't like the filenames DmonHiro uses, so I always rename his files anyway. "1 - The Strengthening Of The Goddesses" doesn't says much (Which anime is it, which group is it from, what resolution, etc) Also it's never a good idea to include the episode titles in the filenames, since many of them contain spoilers.

I personally prefer something like this:

[DmonHiro] Variable Geo - 02 [DVD 480p] [E7114211].mkv

Thanks for the info, but how can you tell if it's p or i? Anidb doesn't specify it in resolution section, and the majority of DVD releases are 480p, so when not specified I just use p.

Actually most anime dvds are not progressive. They're usually interlaced hence the i.
Encoders encode it to 480p by deinterlacing it. This a a straight remux of the dvd vob files.

I have had Express VPN at work and Mozilla's VPN at home and there were times that I couldn't connect to Nyaa and a few other sites because it would come up as a restricted site. By now the VPNs all know about which sites to block just by going on Google.
