(29) This release is NVENC  ---  DO NOT DOWNLOAD
Someone should go post this information under all his torrents on nyaa too (he hides it in the mediainfo link because he's ashamed to post it directly in the torrent description), as unaware ppl should not be tricked in downloading his trash
13/11/2025 23:33 — Anonymous
No one had a problem here with this for over 2 years.
You show up and suddenly and loudly proclaim THE SKY IS FALLING.
13/11/2025 23:44 — Anonymous
Exactly, over 1,400 DLs according to NYAA and not a single complaint here or there.
14/11/2025 00:20 — Anonymous
No one had a problem here with Moozzi2 encodes either.
Actually, still today, there are people who believe that Moozzi2 encodes are good, some even think they are the best (which is insulting to any encoder on the scene btw).
Does this mean that Moozzi2 encodes are good? What the fVck is this reasoning?
14/11/2025 00:49 — Anonymous
> Does this mean that Moozzi2 encodes are good?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Just because you and I don't care for Moozzi doesn't mean everyone agrees, one shouldn't be trashing a release when no one asked for an opinion.
The OP is trashing all these releases that he most likely hasn't even watched.
14/11/2025 01:19 — Anonymous
Don't you have any standard?
Moozzi2's releases, as well as ANY other badly filtered release or even SOFTWARE ENCODED release IS unequivocally BAD.

Or are you trying to tell me that if you have to choose between:
- [badly modified, unfaithful to the original and wrongly edited content] and [faithful to the original content]
OR even
- [someone with actual competence that uses the correct tools for his job] and [someone that has ZERO idea of anything that regards what they're doing]
you would pick the badly modified one and the incompetent one??

^ Does this below help u understand A LITTLE more?
-------
Also, I think that OP decided to take a step in after this shit take ->

Comment n°1 under his demon slayer release:
Nvenc again for those who don’t go look at the very bottom of the mediainfo

Mr_Kimiko's reply (https://nyaa.si/view/2042076#com-2):
What are you even talking about??? Does that even mater? No.

Of course I do, I'm an archiver of shows I like so I pick quality.
But most people here are not archivers and pick shows on size because they watch and delete. Most are watching on small screen portable devices.
To come here and shit on a bunch of releases is just poor.
I'm now done with this topic because I've said all I need to.

>  most people here pick shows on size because they watch and delete.

You've just proven that OP did the right choice spamming that info all over his releases.
MINI releases with FLAC audio and encoded with a SOFTWARE encoder are literally the LAST release they could ever want to download LMFAO.
14/11/2025 05:29 — Anonymous
Software encoders are better quality though. It's hardware-encoded releases that are inferior, as they are meant for realtime applications like livestreaming where quality isn't a concern.
14/11/2025 05:58 — Anonymous
I am 100% sure they meant to write "hardware encoders", otherwise their statement contraddicts itself.
Their brain must've farted for having to explain such basic knowledge.
14/11/2025 13:38 — Anonymous
Software encoders using hardware encodes as a source. Even BD's are hardware encodes.
14/11/2025 14:16 — 2B-
Can you tell us which authoring software does that by default?
14/11/2025 15:15 — Anonymous: "Anon"
No they can't.
14/11/2025 15:52 — Anonymous
Jesse what the fuck are you talking about????????

Stop spreading misinformation, kid.

Why isn't @admin deleting these misinforming comments?
14/11/2025 00:25 — Anonymous
Also, u're commenting under a release where the kind uncompetent Mr whatever that u're defending didnt even bother to check the names of the files before making the torrent, and made THREE mistakes over 4 frigging words:
> </b>Your</b> Being Summoned, Azezal
> You're Being Summoned, Azazel
And this release even has 3 seeders, jfc
Probably this is the quality that u deserve.
14/11/2025 00:28 — Anonymous
actually 9 or probably more (from nyaa)

Attacking a bit of software You don't like and fansubbers you don't like!

Most people visit & download what they like.

Unless the subs or dubs have errors that make them difficult to understand or contain malware or intrusive promotional material, I ignore the comments.

A strangers personal like or dislike means nothing to me.

I like what I like.

And the award for the dumbest take today goes to... Anonymous n°??

The whole discussion is about right and wrong, not like and dont like.
The releaser is sharing trash content to unaware users, OP simply made them aware. You should thank him.

And the award for the dumbest take today goes to...

You!   Crapping all over someone's releases just because you think they are trash is asinine. I could have a field day here crapping on all the releases I think are trash. But I have some class and keep my mouth shut.
14/11/2025 03:00 — Anonymous
You should stop, the more you comment the more you ridicule yourself.
If you lack knowledge about the topic, you should simply avoid commenting.
You have absolutely no idea what hardware encoders are and what they are made for.

AV1 all the way!
This debate has to stop for good.

Most people here have no knowledge on the matter and fail to realize this situation has nothing to do with *liking* the release or uploader, but instead with appropriate encoding *practices*. That is to say not about something *subjective*, but something *objective*: hardware encoders *are* worse than software encoders, it's a well-known fact that can easily be explained by the very nature of hardware encoders and is readily documented everywhere on the internet. You can check out the Rigaya blog for instance.

Defending an uploader who resorts to hardware encoding is doing yourself a disservice because you accept being fed something worse than could have been, granted they put a little more effort into it instead of being a lazy ass. The quality would have been higher using a software encoder and targeting the same filesize, that's all that's being criticized here. If you think it has to do with the uploader, you're greatly mistaken. That would be ignoring what the AV1 community has achieved by bringing together numerous encoders who are willing to learn from each other.

If I download someones version of a sub or dub from here and like it I will be more likely to do so for their future releases.
I have never prejudged a release based on software that was used to supply me something for free.
15/11/2025 02:16 — admin
You are of course free to pick whatever release takes your fancy - a goal here is to not curate beyond what the upstream sites do so that you have this freedom.
The point of the criticism here and NekoTrix's explanation is to provide information to those that may have overlooked the encoding aspect, and possibly encourage the uploader to improve. With this information, you can come to your own conclusions, which may differ from what others conclude.
15/11/2025 04:53 — Anonymous
Why is the reading comprehension level so low for everyone?
The whole discussion is about telling the uploader to mention that his own releases are made with NVENC, because it's WELL KNOWN how bad those are, nothing else.
Instead, he hides the info at the end of a long description on an external link (sometimes even trolls writing "secret settings") and goes mad when someone simply tells him that encoding with NVENC instead of using a normal software encoder, like EVERY SANE PERSON on Earth, is bad and should at least be made clear for those who download.
Do you realize that this guy's releases are literally the ONLY NVENC+FLAC AV1 encodes on the planet?
An AV1 release with FLAC audio is already a heresy, but NVENC too?! Seriously?!
Do you think that literally every other encoder on the scene avoids such nonsense choices because they are stupid???
They are even fighting for your own good, trying to get this (disgusting, as shown in his crazy behaviour on nyaa) person to reason a little, and you dont even take a second to ask yourself why all this happens?
Try to comprehend the topic before writing random comments that show your completely lack of awareness.

Here is a bat, beat that dead horse some more...
15/11/2025 16:10 — Anonymous
The likely outcome of the attacks on the NVENC encodes is that people will stop mentioning them when the give their subs and dubs away for free.
