What are you talking about? Every single one of them works just fine on mpv.

Click on any episode and you'll see preview pictures, so AT could render video. There are three modern, up to date video players: mpv, K-Lite, and Potplayer. You can find download info for them by searching Wikipedia.

Possibilities are endless ...

Video codec of these files is AVC while audio codec is AC-3 and their container is Matroska. You experience "no video only audio" because your media players are poor and don't work well.

The best and most powerful media players are K-Lite Codec Pack (Full or Mega) and mpv (which is based on MPlayer and mplayer2). KLCP (Full or Mega) and mpv can play ANY media file out of the box without the need to configure or download any extra codec. KLCP is Windows-only while mpv is cross platform. Having both of them on a system is a wise thing to do.

Other good ones are PotPlayer and SMPlayer.

Except maybe VVC (H.266) and xHE-AAC for now, though there is no non-experimental content in them.

By the time H.266/VVC is widely accepted and used (2027), they will have no problem playing it ;)
