My isp only knows I visit a vpn. The vpn says it will only respond to it's county's orders (not the US or EEC) and hasn't gotten any yet. That's not too bad for copyright. It might not hold for worse things.

I used to use a vpn but I haven't got a warning from my isp since I stopped using torrents. I easily downloaded a few hundred tb`s in the past 17 uears or so without a vpn using fire hoster method. Vpns are unnecessary with file hosting site. The files are encrypted. I quit using torrents around 2005.

Cant speak for other people but if I had the money Id have a self sufficient piece of land far from society completely off the grid. Nothing to do with the government or anything else I just enjoy nature that much. Like Montana or Alaska. You need a massive greenhouse to survive. Nearly impossible to completely live off hunting.

Would have a bush plane if I needed to get to society. Id either have electric off road vehicles or convert them to gasifier vehicles. I told my cousin that when i die or if I cant move on my own or my mind goes with Alzheimers to put me in the entrance of a grizzly bear cave or near cougar den. Hell with a nursing home or being buried or even making me into ashes. When I'm useless or dead Id rather go back to nature.

And yes I'm serious.As far as living in the middle of nowhere Id be plenty busy and while it would suck a little to not have internet or live tv I have enough games and media (movies, tv shows, and anime) to last a life time if I had the time

Its not mine but my cousin has land in the middle of the woods in West Virginia. Hunting and vacation or getaway land. Its awesome Been going there for a decade. It remote as hell. the only amenity it has is electric. if i was my place Id install solar panels but its his place and i don't have the money he does. The next nearest house is like a mile away. Anyway its great. Well at least if you are a huge nature lover. You can shoot guns all you want and basically do anything yon want there with it being i the woods.

Solar panels like many things are expensive if someone else does it for you. If you are mechanically inclined its pretty cheap. You can even build your own panels. The battery system is the expensive part even if you do it yourself.
