| Comment | Kim's Lens causes him to have a premonition in which he is attempting to rescue a princess; the premonition abruptly ends with the two of them being cornered by her pursuers and falling into a crevasse. Mentor tells Kim that this is Princess Kirara of Planet Kiriland. The members of Galactic Patrol know Kiriland as a legendary planet that has been immortalized in the works of a famous Valerian writer, but despite the skepticism of many of the crew (particularly Henderson), the Brittania sets off to find out if this planet actually exists. Be sure to visit their website for mecha goodness including Getter Robo, SPT Layzner and Dragonar: http://msubsreleases.wordpress.com/And of course an extra-special thanks goes out to Dougo13 for providing the Betamax source video for this rare Lensman TV episode, recorded by his friend in Nagasaki on January 5, 1985. Without the generous help of old-school video collectors, this project would not have been possible. |
