Not sure what is wrong with your PC. Played a few of these with a windows 7 and a windows 10 machine with MPC-HC and a month old K-lite pack with no problems.

The container is mkv, the encode is called AV1. High demands on system to play. Update your MPC-HC with KLite package to play but it may stutter and drop frames even on a recent computer. Try it with MPV for your best chance at something watchable.

can you elaborate?
opus can contain more information at the same bitrate than aac

opus isn't natively supported codec on many deivce.

Support actually is decent, with the exception of Apple products.
It was added in Android 5 (covers most mobile phones and many media players) and Windows 10 (most PCs). Supported by all the major browsers, and most software based players.

For this file in particular, I doubt the Opus audio would be the problem; AV1 has much less compatibility. Whilst Opus can be software decoded fine, AV1 is more problematic, particularly with low-power platforms.

I have no problem watching these files on my 10-year old Win 7 laptop with KLCP Mega (Codecguide.com/download_kl.htm) ;)
