Is there any possibility of getting this release in AVC format, please? None of my media players can play HEVC files, so a different encode would be highly appreciated. Thank you very much! :)

That's good news, thank you! Now the only problem is that I cannot use torrents, so the only way for me to download is using DDL links. Could somebody upload the mentioned file here or to some DDL host, please? Thank you!

you can get a Nyaa login and post on the torrent page to the author even if you don't post torrents.  It's the only way, since the author has the raw video and *might* care.  Low probability "might".  You're asking for another encode.

I understand, I am very grateful for your help. I know it's a lot to ask for a whole new encode, but I'll see if I give it a try. Then again, there is always the alternative to wait for another upload from a different user. There's no need to hurry, so I'll probably give it some time and see what happens. :)

There's google. Download handbrake or any converter. Any will do. If you are worried about quality loss then just give it lots of bitrate. No rocket science. :)
