No, it's a BD remux, i.e. not encoded.
Please be patient and wait for encodes.

Out of interest, how does that indicate a re-encode?
27/02/2018 12:28 — Anonymous
Because of "Writing library : x264", with the respective Encoding settings.
Unless more recently Blu ray releases use the x264 library for encodes (?) - others that I've seen show no such info in the video section, like:

Video
ID                                         : 4113 (0x1011)
Menu ID                                : 1 (0x1)
Format                                   : AVC

Format settings, CABAC            : Yes
Format settings, ReFrames       : 2 frames

Ah I see.
x264 can be used for Blu-ray encoding though - the above uses "bluray_compat=1" as well as "nal_hrd=cbr" which seems to suggest a Blu-ray compatible stream.
(unless the re-encode actually went to the effort of making the stream Blu-ray compatible)

Well, in that comment the submitter just says the same that s/he has said in the torrent description.
Anyway, I **had** read all the comments on the nyaa page before posting mine.
(Note: I am "Anonymous" who doubts this is a remux; the above comment I am replying to is from a different Anonymous :) )

"x264 can be used for Blu-ray encoding" - true, it's just that I've never seen it used in a commercial BD release.
I've posted my comment on nyaa as well, maybe the submitter will get back with more info.

I've looked at the media info of the BDMV and it is the same as the remux.
27/02/2018 19:07 — Anonymous
Could you please post here the full MediaInfo report for the M2TS file?

#Even a Pawn can take down a King#
I don't get the discussion here. Why exactly is it uncommon to use x264 for commercial purpose? They offer licenses exactly for such cases (since 2010 or something around):
https://licensing.x264.org/en/
(BTW it's easy to remove the x264 tags anyway, which is likely done in many cases)
27/02/2018 20:45 — Anonymous
I only said that  *I* have never seen it used in a commercial BD release.
Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait until (if) the actual BDMV gets available. Also, I don't think I'll have anything else valuable to add to my previous comments here, so I probably should stop for now.
(Note: I am "Anonymous" who doubts this is a remux).

Great, the submitter has posted the MediaInfo listing for the m2ts file on the nyaa page ( https://nyaa.si/view/1009219#com-58 ), which appears to confirm the video stream was copied as-is from the BD.
(Note: I am "Anonymous" who doubted :) this is a remux - the new info should be proof it *is* a remux).

Thanks for the effort you went to, to seek confirmation :)
