I may be the last one to notice, but "B-Global" sourced versions have been including song translations not found in funi-based versions. In this case, it includes a song around the 18 min mark and the ED. In other cases, it has included OPs and ENs. It makes quite a difference for me.

It's sometimes true, and worth checking if it interests you. The dialogue translations may also be a bit different.

I was told it used to be the case that licensing rights for song lyrics were separate from the anime, strange as that may seem.

In this case at least, funi has lyrics to Machikado Mazoku S2, and B-Global has lyrics for Luminous Witches and Shikimori isn't just a cutie. So far.

Machikado was HIDIVE. I don't recall Funi ever having OP/ED lyrics for any of their anime.
