Thank you for sharing. As a courtesy to the OP and DMCA take-down prevention users are asked not to directly share links posted on on the forum. Admins ask that if a user wishes to share another users uploads elsewhere that they upload it themselves so it's posted with its own unique link. Spreading the same link increases the chances of a DMCA take-down. This post is fine, it's old and my link is still active. Do as you wish but consider the suggestion.

Not yet at least. Kametsu had a ton of stuff DMCA'd because of people posting the links outside the forum and this happened well before the recent change of the site.
It's a courtesy to ask about posting links outside of where you got them and what MeH is doing I think is outright rude.

Actually, I think they are worried about bot-scan of links. Their site probably requires membership which hides the links from public scans like Google.

AT has often said it isn't an archive. It could be one if it wanted to but not at the volume of stuff they run. Instead, AT chose to use public-ddl services where most links have a 90 day limit or less. It's a different niche of high volume and short availability.

The only way to shut down users posting stuff here would be to close down comments.

I think if any other site objects to their links being copied, it is up to that site to find a solution to their problem, not for every other site in the world to solve their problem.

Plenty of the links here go down within 48 hours, not the 'inactive' time limits.
It's not really up to the 'other sites' since they can't control what the members do outside the forum anonymously.
The only thing that can be done is to call out those that are posting them in other places.
