That Yasununi shrine styled Yamato battleship idolatry is super offensive to the many millions of victims of the soldateska, from Philippines to Hawaii and it's disgusting to cutefy the japanese imperialist invasion as some kind of a "proto-Kancolle" cute girls doing revisionist things! All that brainwashing in an anime supposedly aimed at 10 year olds ... Japan still hasn't reformed at all, unlike Germany who have profusely atoned for WW2.
