Thanks this turned out to be a even better all around after re-encoding it back to 8 bit. Oversized files and non standard codecs, take up too much space and only play thru a computer. If it aint broke don't fix it. As long as we can get the same quality from 8bit, there wont ever be a need for 10bit other than what it's intended use is for. The occasional low resolution small file that could use an video quality boost.

"...even better all around after re-encoding it back to 8 bit..."?
Maybe re-encoded with much higher CRF than 15.0? If so, increasing the acceptable distortion and also getting a general increase of stream size by around 10 percent when using 8-bit, may suit your needs, but may not be generally considered as "better all around". Not to mention the loss of quality when encoding from anything other than the raw BD Rip.

BetaMAX, wow that takes me back my dad use to have a couple of those. They lost the video tape war to VHS(who else) even though betamax was far superior in quality.  Anyway.
Back to this cluster f.... BetaMax Just because nothing is written explaining the process used to encode back to 8 bit. Doesn't mean nothing was done. Why go into detail, the eps. are for my collection alone. I always look thru the 'unsorted' list and some other sources before fixing something that isnt actually broke. Re-encoding to keep my Archive the same and only when an alt. source can't be found.  Also I agree your 100% correct in saying that using a RAW would be the best choice to avoid "loss of quality".  I prefer not to mess with someone else encodes. But the number of sources still sharing have dropped to only a few.
It wasnt too long ago, all of this wasn't even considered a possibility. Encodes from every type of media,(live, movies, TV,sports events, Anime) all had the same AVC 8bit video format. The rest are still the same and flourishing.  You can find 10 - 20 different versions of the same file. But not for an Anime, that doesnt happen anymore. The day something 10bit was posted. That was the start of everything going to shit, sharing fell into chaos and HEVC followed not long behind. The after effects have been worst case scenario. Most of the groups/sources from recent to those that had been sharing more than 10 years. That shared by Re-releasing their encodes etc.  Have quit and don't intend on ever sharing again. When asked, most reasons are the same.
Just the other day I found encodes that were both 10bit and HEVC.

I take it that you would like to have this title in 8-bit?  When something like this happens, go to the top of the page and you'll see in small print something like:

Anime Tosho Home » God Eater » Unsorted Files »

Click on the "God Eater" part of that and you'll see a listing of all releases of this series here at AT.

In this example you would have found:
https://animetosho.org/view/noobsubs-g...p4.1038155

Which might be what you wanted.

Note: If you wanted dual audio or dub, you may have to wait until the whole series is available with English audio which is often later than subbed version.

@ daisuke9
HEVC, MKV, 10bit, 12bit, etc aren't bad just because you can't play or don't like them.
And there's no need to re-encode these files. There are already 8bit, MKV or MP4 releases out there as mentioned above.
For example here is a good quality, small size (in comparison to this batch), 720p, 8bit release of this series:
