Maybe his work is better than yours.
I've never checked his out but tried 2 of yours and I was not impressed for the largess of the file size.
Also he isn't here bragging about how good he is.

both of this are bad if the source is ultimately CR, i dont know much about encoding but i dont think lossy encodes can be made better by re encoding or even if some shaders or stuff makes it better i will prefer the source one more

i just wanted to say re encoding can make stuff better but from sources like CR which is already low quality (compared to bd) how good can it be at the end. btw i respect every contribution in the community, good or bad

CR can beat BDs. Mostly bc the (most) people that encode the video for the blu-rays have seemingly no idea what they are doing or just don't care. See Aobuta S2 as example.

yes true for this release i have seen this vodes guy is pretty famous and has many high quality bd remuxes which are on top of quality charts so yay this is actually better than source. unlike others i dont hate this lx guy but trolling mini encodes is weird. i would actually support him if he does soemthing different like 4K HEVC stuff

The only problem with that is LX doesn't actually put out that great of work. Some of his releases have more banding than the source and others have more grain. Not to mention the time he spent converting 20-30 MB lossy files to 200 MB+ flac files with no real improvement, he finally quit that. He is nowhere near as good as he espouses. Only in his mind does he think he is the best and others are beneath him. He also forgets that most watch and delete because of storage space, bandwidth limitations and not being archivers.
