Just because someone doesn't show/hides their encode settings does not mean it is a NVENC encode.
Even CPU encodes can be flagged to not display the settings in the media info.

Thanks for your comment, but it'd be more helpful if you explained why you're suggesting readers shouldn't download.
In fact, if you're convincing enough, you don't even need to say "DO NOT DOWNLOAD" as the reader could come to that conclusion themselves.

You don't need to post this on every historical entry (especially those that already have comments discussing the issue). There are measures in place to prevent duplicate comments, and I don't look fondly to those trying to work around these restrictions - I've removed most of those comments.

You(plural) dont know? Why don't you(plural) do a simple research online? Or even just ask the AI?
This guy made the god's work and shared an extremely important information about these releases, and you go and delete their extremely useful comments? Doesn't really make sense to me tbh :/
Unaware people come here to download a release and read "AV1" and think that this will be like every other AV1 release, and instead they are downloading crap.. not to mention that these releases have FLAC audio..... with AV1..... it should be clear as the sun that these releases are, to say the least, disgraceful.

In short, using a hardware encoder is only convenient for the encoder(person), because it will take less time and effort from them, not for the users, which will get an encode that's literally crap, because it's simply meant for real-time applications, not for downloadable content.

BTW quit watching BDs since they are hardware encodes also.
I think most here would agree that those releases are good enough for them.
Are they the best? No, but there are plenty of software encodes that are done poorly here also.
The anon that was shitting on all the INDEX releases just because they were hardware encodes is IMHO just being an ass who most likely watches CR, NF, BDMV etc hardware releases and I don't see him jumping on those.

I'm not sure how effective the blind copy/paste job is, especially given that some listings the message was posted to already had comments regarding the issue, and many entries were very dated.
There's mechanisms in place here to prevent posting the same message multiple times, which is generally considered spamming/flooding, and I don't look fondly towards attempts to bypass these mechanisms.

I'm not saying the comments weren't useful - I honestly think they have merit and didn't really like the idea of removing them. However, the contents wasn't really the issue here - most of them were removed because of the way they were posted.
Hopefully that makes sense.

Thank you for supplying an explanation - I think the original messaging would've been much more effective if it included what you've put there.

False Flag. It's not entirely the encoder used. Quality also depends on settings chosen. This site is full of poor quality products that utilized the encoder you prefer.
