Does anyone feel like there should be more than 26 episodes, the series seems kind of feels a bit all over the place.

This should have been either slimmed down to fit into the 2 cours, or they shoulda went the full 4 cour on it, like the current SAO. They could have paced the arcs better either way I think.

A 'brave' studio (Kyoni perhaps) woulda bumped half the characters and maybe introduced a 'anime only' char that would tie things together, it certainly needs something, far too many characters, too many arcs and sub plots, far too much jumping about from place to place every episode, it feels way too rushed, like every 3 episodes has the infos of a whole season. But hey, its Indexu, it'll still romp home in a lot of peoples AotS lists. Personally, I'm just along for the ride, waiting for ep 24, when the end card announces season III of the Railgun.

Saw some stuff from recent comic con with the guy from Trigger,, and he was asked something like is it awkward getting praised by fans, and he was like Noooo, like he was saying they do look out for that kinda stuff, and they appreciate it.

On comparing the 2 Mangas, Railgun, in comparison to Index, is pretty much classic linear storytelling, and would be much easier to adapt to anime.
