Pretty god damn confused with the controversy surrounding this anime's ending. Hey sure, it's a bad ending and totally abandoned Machi's progress throughout the series, which make watching it meaningless but then again, this is a slice of life and that genre is the motherhouse of feel good shit so, a little change like this ain't so bad. It's pointless yeah, but different. Pretty crazy seeing how many people got riled up though, and now this show have garnered too much attention to it starting from 5000 viewer on MAL into 9000 viewer right now or something. Anyone else who see this got a comment? You guys liked the ending or hated the hell out of it? I like the hell out of it, oh yeah. Too bad about Machi though and fuck Yoshio. That bastard should be killed for ultimate harrassment and paedophile tendecies.

It depends on what you expect from 14 year olds. By Japanese standards 14 year olds are expected to be more mature than in other cultures.

I think they hoped for whimsy but achieved pathetic.

Yeah, can agreed with that. If only they turn some shit around, then we can get something but something telling me the writer hired by the studio might be too lazy around that part. Well, I don't expect much from this Kinema Citrus studio, since their work are mostly either normal or shit. I bet Silver Link could do something great with this.

yep, damn insane seeing how this relatively unknown series just got off the wire just becz it doesn't get the usual comfy ending. i felt for machi there but different is good. maybe this gonna be a cult classic or somethin
