Wish they remade this with better art and shit. It's aging, alright, especially with that third pic.

feel free to try the live action J-drama versions... the one that came out in the late 1990's was most awesome, and they remade the live action in these last few years with another actor playing Onizuka, so look them up and maybe stream or buy the DVDs as I did. - Hope that helps give you a little different GTO to enjoy!

no problem. And if it helps, the J-drama live action versions are available with English subtitles on DVD for reasonable prices on eBay, and I've seen them available for download online (various sources of course) available too. - Not sure if anyone has the GTO license in the English speaking world anymore so I wouldn't bet on an updated anime version any time soon.

DEFINITELY watch the complete 1998 TV version (starring Takashi Sorimachi ) along with the TV special first. - There was a movie version to accompany this too, but as a GTO fan, my opinion is that this first live action ( Takashi Sorimachi ) version is the definitive take on GTO, and the later versions that came out in 2012 and later aren't quite as good.
