To be fair I don't think it's just 'weebs' (whatever a weeb is) that would prefer original designations (-san, -kun etc) translated faithfully. Thinking back to when I first got into anime, all translations seemed to be that way, and it only takes watching a few episodes to understand what these terms mean. Watching anime and reading westernised terms (Mr, Mrs, Sissy, etc) seems very odd and completely unnecessary.
