Many thanks for posting this Movie encoded with the standard AVC Codec(8bit). Even though it was posted back in march and several other versions have been posted since then. It's still the only version thats 100% shareable. Meaning it can be played on just about any media player. The rest are pc only playable. One of the monster file size's might be 8bit but there so damn big it's too much work to share them. Now if common sense was still being used by society as a whole. It would be s simple thing to see that h10 Anime is a total waste of time and effort to create since it has almost no value as a sharable media type. This of course is why h10 can only be found in Anime media. All other media like live TV series amd Movie forums or torrent sites have no 10bit encodes of any kind because they know very few ppl watch media solo on a pc.

I think people use 10 bit to lessen the file size, but i agree with you 100%.

Hi10P (10-bit) is a more efficient encode (smaller file size for same quality). It's easier to avoid banding using it. It requires more computational resources. It may not play or play smoothly on minimal or alternate machines. The same quality can be achieved with either encode, but the 8-bit would have to be about a 20% larger file. Whether 10-bit is worth the trade-offs with compatibility will probably be debated until 264 is gone.

It's hard to get excited about the Hi10P for 264 debate with the movement to 265 where the savings are much greater.
