I miss the times when someone actually learn the language to translate stuffs. Now the AI is getting smarter and people become dumber and lazier than ever.

AI doesn't "get smart". It doesn't think or have intelligence. It "getting smarter" is simply a matter of it having more (stolen) training data, and thus its responses - which are merely just what is statistically the most likely set of words and phrases, being changed as a result.

AI as a replacement for a human translator will NEVER be the same level of quality. AI is incapable of identifying and capturing the nuance that you find in some dialogue.

As expected, these subs are incredibly stiff-sounding, and flat-out wrong in numerous lines, which is also to be expected when using an audio transcription tool to guess the Japanese being spoken.

It's better to just treat this show as still being unsubbed. Don't settle for this low-effort garbage release.
