When compared to the [HorribleSubs] 1080P TV release, the video quality is practically the same.

If you think so, that's great.  If I pointed out the differences, it's kind of like revealing magic tricks and you might not enjoy the Horrible 1080p releases as much as you do now.  But I'll mention one: "banding" -the lack of smooth color gradient changes, a common problem in automated 8-bit encoding.  FFF uses Hi10P encoding and tinkers with the results until the settings achieve the desired quality.

BD releases may also contain additional scenes, and are uncensored.  I don't know if censorship* was an issue in this series or if additional scenes have been added.

*(obscuring nudity and bloodshed, as opposed to deleting scenes.  Some people might prefer such censorship.)
