That's pure BS. Quite a lot of people use this site for torrents since it scrapes 3 other sites and makes it easier for us than searching 3 different sites for what we are after.
There is stuff on the other 2 sites that's not on nyaa.

If this is a "ddl site" why do they offer torrents then? It's actually a site for both and like the anon said I also come here for the torrents, not the ddl. If it wasn't for the torrents you would not have anything here to download.

You're crazy, at the time the person asked if it was being seeded it wasn't even finished downloading to this site. Just so you know plenty of people come and get their torrents here.
Also a lot of the DDL here dies fairly quick, the real 'backup' would be the pay to pay NZB.

I have no interest in whatever debate this is, but just one question: Does anyone who has requested help with a torrent here (seeding) ever thought they had some success thanks to that request?  If yes, that's good to know.  If no, that's good to know also.

I've helped a few out. It mainly depends if it's a file I have. I don't grab crap shows though and more times than not it's something I wouldn't have grabbed.
