not a bad complain...but a suggestion
why can't you guys, split the episodes in to two halfs in MF...
I mean 200mb can be so annoying sometimes...T_T
it reachs 90% or sometimes higher then it stops...  TT_TT

Thx for the hard work... Love you guys.. (^_^)b

Possible, but not so sure that it's really any better. As hinted below, if we have a 400MB file, you'll still get 200MB parts (unless the split size is set lower).
Is it your connection that keeps dropping out, or is Mediafire cutting you off? If the former, I might suggest that DDLs might not be ideal if the host doesn't provide resume support.

Thx really for consider replying to me.. ^_^
with me, it's the second one (Mediafire cutting me off suddenly...) more then the first one...
and MF is not for resuming, right...
so it's really so Grrrrrrr sometimes...

but, just like I said...I'd rather had to redownload again from MF better then nothing...

it's not an order, pls keep that in mind..am simply suggesting here
for400mb, it can be split like I wrote under  :)

Have agreat day...and keep on the good work
wish you the best

I somewhat want to reduce the number of parts as much as possible, especially since many anime files are over 200MB, and having more parts than necessary makes it more annoying to download and then join everything together.
The other issue is where to exactly set the maximum split size. 150MB? 100MB? 10MB?
As 200MB is already the smallest split size, I don't really want to go too much lower.

I do really understand your concern though, and wish I could offer a better solution. Unfortunately reducing the split size won't stop Mediafire cutting off the download (might make it a bit less painful, though I wouldn't suspect that much more). Also I don't think this is the proper solution to the problem.
Some suggestions I may give:
- See if you can find an URL transloading service. There are a few file hosts out there that will let you do URL fetching without getting a premium account. Try copying the *real* download link from Mediafire and transload it to that service. Hopefully the service has either a more stable connection, or allows resuming.
- Buy a premium account - costs $$$
- Rent a server or maybe some arrangement with a friend, transload files onto the server and download from there
- Use torrents - they'll always have resume support

Thanks for pointing out that this is an issue though. I may consider doing even splits (eg, 240MB = 120MB+120MB).

I understand you loud and clear  ^_^
and don't worry, really....you, responding and trying to clear it to me, was more then enough...
amd thankful for you

as for your suggestions...
the first one, will check it...
(the last one, I have sometimes no access to ports in torrent, so I got no connect that mean can't download T_T )
as for buy and account, I actually did that, but I was shocked when nothing changed...
I mean, I made a prem. account in MF...but I got nothing from it's privilege... X_x

Don't Thank me pls...we are in gratitude for life, to you here...  (^_^)v
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE HARD WORK YOU ARE PUTTIN' HERE...

i like that idea too, even though i have no problem dl 200mb right now, but if the file 400mb higher how to split it?
05/02/2012 17:09 — AmilGaoul
400mb
they can do it in three parts, like they did with Toriko episode,
but instead of 200mb each
it can be 3parts:
1=150mb
2=150mb
3=100mb
^_^!
but, hey...200mb better then nothing, right ;)

just use JDownloader =) Easy downloading.
And use RapidCRC (from sourceforge.net) to check the crc-checksum afterwards.
05/02/2012 21:55 — AmilGaoul
hmmmm...JDownloader...does it resume MF dl...?
and what's this crc-checksum....? O_o
need more explainations pls...
05/02/2012 23:03 — admin
Checksums like CRC32 are used to verify a file. If there's an error in the file, you'll get a different CRC value to the one stated.
06/02/2012 19:37 — AmilGaoul
hmmm...interesting
but I wrote RapidCRC in the site you mentioned, no result was found  X_x
sry to bother you really...

Just Google it.

Media Fire has never cut off or goofed up any download for me so far.  So I don't think they are the problem, just in case you wondered.  Instead of anything else, first try using the other browers.  The best ones in my experience are: 1. Firefox; 2. Opera (has built in torrents); 3. Microsoft Internet Explorer; 4. Google Chrome.  My main problem with Google Chrome is I don't trust my privacy with it.  But see if the download problem persists across all of these browsers.  If it does, 1. check to make sure that your computer isn't getting into some kind of sleep suspension; 2. If you are using a router or wireless router, try an alternate connection, such as directly to the cable or dsl modem, just to see if router settings might be an issue.  Also, if possible, see if another computer has the same problem when using your internet connection.  If the problem still persists, it may be the ISP at fault.  If you can't change internet provider, you are then officially stuck and may have no choice but accept things as they are or try torrents.  Warning: torrents are very public.  It will be easy for your ISP or others to see what you're downloading.  There's a site in Russia that collects such information called "I Know What You Downloaded".  So be aware of your country's laws on this.

Off-topic: I personally don't use Chrome or its forks, but if you mostly like it bar privacy concerns, you can take a look at SRWare Iron. I heard Chromium is mostly Chrome without the Google extras on top, so maybe look into that. Critics say that you can mostly simulate Iron's privacy by editing some settings in Chrome, but if you want guaranteed privacy, then you can just try out Iron.
Hope that helps.

Thanks.   I'm always interested in the browser wars.  But it sounds like things are de-evolving: Chrome --> Iron --> Rock --> Dirt
08/02/2012 03:21 — admin
De-evolution is what wars are best at achieving.

Oh! A Philosopher-Administrator.  New character class.

Sorry, I joined the party since forever ago.

However, I am interested in your chosen name. Have you de-evolved from iAnonymous? Or are you scared of Apple lawsuits? I thought 'i' was the new prefix...
08/02/2012 11:57 — Anonymous: "eAnonymous"
In light of MU and Pirate's Bay, "i" was never here...
08/02/2012 21:35 — admin
Oh dear...
12/02/2012 17:12 — AmilGaoul
og~~~so what's the "e"...?
07/02/2012 21:51 — AmilGaoul
Thx...like I said up-there in torrents...  T_T
but, having MF links here IS BETTER THEN NOT AT ALL...
it's the only one I can have download access to after MU...freely X_x

:sigh: what can I say...Fuckin' SOPA...after MU...am havin' so many troubles with keeping updates with my downloads..

Use IDM to resume and speed up your downloads from Mediafire. That's why I prefer Mediafire cause it can be resumed and it's really fast to DL when using an Download Accelerator.
12/02/2012 16:32 — Anonymous: "shadowzephyr"
Yup, IDM can do the job very nicely. Most of time files can be resume without trouble in case of internet problem.

But the best thing most people didn't know bout IDM is that you can actually continue download your MF file even if it already reach 90% and you can't resume download (eg: your internet IP changed / router restart), by downloading that file again for a while (0.01% is enough) to get the link address, copy that link and paste that to the actual one, and you can continue download that file again, trust me. Should worked for other download manager that support resume function as well.

For admin: thank you for the MF links, loved it. :)
