Thanks at for AC3 audio and ahh.. well nobody perfect. Re-encoding the video only takes a few minutes so no big deal. almost everyone is still using it for the wrong reasons. [**Explanation below]
**HEVC
1) HEVC space saving is actually not a thing. Equivalent quality encodes between HEVC and AVC are almost always roughly same size.
HEVC only really saves space by denoising by default which degrades quality. This is exactly why no reputably encode group encodes
with HEVC. Because there isn't any reason to needlessly spend 4x as long encoding for roughly same file size and quality. Thus only real
reason for HEVC usage is HDR concerns with 4K sources.
Funi is laughing because they got everyone to do the job of keeping sharing on the net and blocking it from leaving. Ask them yourself

Funi isn't laughing at all. They have nothing to do with why encoders choose HEVC or 10bit encoding.
Funny that you aren't complaining about AV1 or VP9 that is used for streaming these days, bet you'd say that's Funi's doing also.
Get rid of your antiquated hardware and step up your game.
