at this point one has to consider the relevancy of softsubbing signs. once libass stops development and whatever succeeds it doesn't port the various libass functions all these signs will be history.

I edit these scripts for style. They shouldn't encode fonts inline. Just send out a ZIP. Glad I have Aegisub.

aegisub shows nothing in attachments so i suspect it isn't encoded in the ass and consequently those aren't what is driving up it's size. it's already mentioned in comments what is responsible.
