Anime (a term derived from the English word animation) describes all animated works, regardless of style or origin. Japan is the home of Anime but other countries are doing it too. Everybody copies off of everyone else.

There are lots of close minded people out there in the world. The admins seem to be ok with other forms of Animation being here and I also agree with "If you don't like it just don't watch it".

Please remember that Chinese broadcasts are heavily regulated where Japanese ones are not. So for some people they many find the story content not to their liking. For me it doesn't mean that it's "shitty" it just means that it is different that what we are used to. I'll be honest, some of the dialog drives me nuts. So I don't download it much. I'll download the first episode and if I like it I will keep watching, if I don't I stop downloading it. Simple. But I will not bash them, because there is a lot of people working hard on it and I find that to be dis-respectful to them. Of course this just my opinion and nothing more.

And how they show up here I believe it started when Nyaa was temporarily shutdown & they stayed ever since, if I remember correctly.
