News: The show has been renewed for a second season!
I'm unsure of the length, but 4 more episodes for season 1 then it starts again in June
If you can get past the CGI animation (and somewhat weak start) the anime is well worth it.

My 2 cents on the CGI animation, now to be fair I've only seen the first 2 episodes so far. But it's like they used it to add production value, however they never saw the 2D & the 3D together until the very end when they were cutting it and thought "Oh &*&% too late now! Just put it in." The 3D stuff reminds me a lot of student demo reels which I've seen 100s of... For every 20 there might be 3 that grab your attension, those scenes wouldn't be one of the 3. Another thing that comes to mind is 3D Max 1997 era...

And if by some chance anyone that worked on these 3D scenes reads this, please forgive me I'm sure you had some limitations that caused this.

At first I disliked the CGI, but being 34 episodes in, I got used to it. The reason why I think they went this route is because it's cheaper and probably easier to do for the war scenes
