The video after joining stops playing at the midpoint. I've checked and all the part files are complete. Is there something wrong with the upload?

Did you run a CRC check on it to see if the file is fine?! Also the CRC is ED870B57

What app should I use to run the CRC check(I'm on windows)? I just checked the size of all part files and they were same as mentioned on solidfiles..

Okay. The CRC of the part files fall in three different groups: part 1, part 2, part 3-7; which are all different from that of the final mp4 file.
These are the CRC shown in the result section(rapidCRC). However there is also this coming up in status: No CRC found.
I redownloaded the first part and all results are the same.

1. If you're not using 7-zip to join and extract the files, try it:

http://www.7-zip.org/

Install, right-click on 001 and choose "Extract Here"  7-zip will find the parts.  Also, note any error messages from 7-zip.

2. Solidfiles alters the file names for me in a unix sort of way -- adds %%05B_ etc.  I don't know if it does this randomly or consistently, so make sure all the file names are identical except for the suffix (.001, .002, etc.)

3. Maybe start over with a different download service.  (btw, the parts from different services are not compatible unless they have the same number of parts.  And even so, Go4Up probably has additional problems.)

3. I'll try repeating what you're doing, but it will be several hours from now, sorry.

I tested the download:

I downloaded it from Solidfiles,
Joined the parts with 7-zip.  

Results:
-No 7-zip errors
-CRC hash of completed file = AT file hash
-random samples plays fine, from beginning to end of movie.

Even though it's "No CRC found", you can see for the file the actual CRC. This will be useful if there's no CRC attached in the filename so you can check it manually.

It's fixed!!!! Here's what went wrong: I downloaded till part 3 right but then to get part 4 I changed the URL of solidfiles part 3 to .004 instead of .003. I figured that if the URL didn't exist, I'll get a page not found. Turns out that just displayed part 3 again and since I manually set the downloaded file name in Firefox, I didn't come to know about this till I tried downloading in Chrome. So I just had part 3 saved as other parts, which also explains why they all had the exact CRC code O.O I feel like the stupidest person on planet right now.

Also, it turns out, that if you play a part 1 in vlcc, it automatically plays part 2 and all the parts after that. That is how I came to know that there was something wrong with the fourth one.

I downloaded the entire thing right this time. Thanks you guys! I would have given up on the download if it wasn't for your support... You all are awesome :D :D

Oh and Gurphy, I use 7zip for all this extract and join and other file business already. It's great!
