"DV" stands for Dolby Vision and colour and brightness mapping will be odd if your playback devices do not support it

The DV version is still the best looking one, even if you playback it as SDR.
It usually has the highest bitrate on NF.
Just add/change this to your mpv config and you’re good to go:
vo=gpu-next
gpu-api=vulkan
hwdec=no
tone-mapping=bt.2446a

Sure, it’s still not as close to SDR as real SDR, but the higher bitrate is worth it.
Iirc mpv is the only video player that can playback DV as SDR without purple/green tint.
Make sure to have the newest mpv build.

Copied from nyaa for the poor fuckers who can't afford a vpn. And if you are using anything othan vlc you should watch it with the funny colors
